Winter Menu '19 is set to impress!

One block away from Eat Streat, the Pig & Whistle Historic Pub have plenty of kiwi classics to choose from. With the new winter menu for 2019 recently released, there are new and old favourites returning for another season that you do not want to miss.


The lamb shanks have been on the menu in previous years and have been brought back by demand. Prepared and braised by chefs for 4hrs in a red wine, rosemary & beef stock. Accompanied with roasted pumpkin, steamed green vegetables, and minted peas - the lamb shank is what the Pig & Whistle's known for – just ask the locals! Also new to the menu is a Crispy Pork Belly and Slow Cooked Brisket. See here for the new Winter menu.
